Why having a Christian Mentor is so valuable!

“Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety” (Prov 11:14),

Being mentored by a tried-and-true Christian is one of the most valuable and effective steps you can take on your Christian journey.  At times we all need someone who can guide, encourage and help nurture our spiritual growth.  That is why God created us to be in relationship with others who are good counsel

Be careful not to subscribe to the “Don’t Judge Me” generation.  We all need accountability. No matter our age or spiritual maturity.  Living holy can be hard at times, but worth every bit of the effort.  That’s why the importance of godly counsel cannot be understated.

Of course, our greatest counselor is God Himself through His mighty Word.  You will always be encouraged whether you choose to take on a mentor or not, to study God’s Word!
